| Warrior Rookie Camp |
The Marquette Women's Rugby team will be holding their annual Warrior Rookie Camp on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at the Valley Fields complex from 10am until 1pm.
This camp is designed for the new player and will focus on the basic skills of the game.
We welcome all interested and take all shapes and sizes and athletic ability. Our team does not cut players, so no need to worry about that. Rugby encompasses skill sets from a variety of sports, so come and try it out and see how you like it!
The current team will be on hand to help and after, will have a cookout for our new teammates!
Rides to/from the Valley Fields will be provided.

| MANDATORY Team meeting for all returning players for Fall 2011 Season |
WHO: All returning players, past and present. Even if you didn't play with us in the Spring due to work obligations, school, etc., you are invited and WELCOME to the meeting.
WHAT: We will be discussing the upcoming season and anything administrative to do with the team such as dues, contracts, profile pictures, practice, etc. Be prepared and bring your planners!!
WHERE: Raynor Library room 245 at 8pm
WHEN: Tuesday, August 30th, 2011
WHY: Because we need to start the season and plan to kick tail!
Again, this is mandatory if you want to play in the Fall. We have a lot to discuss now that we have two teams for the Fall and each team WILL get playing time.
If you absolutely cannot attend, you must let Shannon or Pohle know. |
